iMakeCLT – South End Community Make Day is free, family-friendly event that provides a pop-up space for neighbors from all over Charlotte to connect, learn and create meaningful projects. Attendees of all ages can interact with artists and makers to take part in activities like STEM education, a community art-making project, hand sign painting, drone technology, 3D printing, Legos, printmaking, robotics, building race cars, birdhouses, & firetrucks and more. The community-wide event celebrates and embraces the notion that everyone is a maker and this fun day provides a learning and collaborative environment for all ages to experience and experiment first-hand what being a maker is all about.
iMakeCLT will be held at C3 Lab, a creative hub that features coworking space, artist studios, event space and makerspace studios.
