Build a Better World at Fairport Public Library

The theme for this year’s Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World!”

Our theme this year is all about building and making. Starting on June 20th, come to the library to sign up for summer reading. Kids can earn prizes on their BUILDers Bingo card by reading aloud to someone, listening to a book on CD, attending a library program, or building something out of recycled materials! Stop in once a week with your completed Bingo card and claim your prize!

Our kids’ library programs¬† throughout the summer include a Maker Camp on July 8th, STEM Crafts on Monday afternoons, LEGO Club, a Kindness Tree, and Storybook Cooks. We even have a Preschool STEM Playtime for the littlest makers in your family.

Teens can get in on the making, too, by learning to knit, learning to crochet, Animanga Club, Teen Chefs, Teen Authors and Artists, Recycled Jewelry, and more!

Kids, teens, and adults can sign up for Summer Reading at the Fairport Public Library starting June 20th. Check our online calendar for programs and events.
