What does it mean to be a maker?
Being a maker is putting anything into the world that wasn't there already. This can include crafts such as woodworking, metalworking, sewing, cooking, painting, engineering etc.
What are you doing in the Maker community?
Currently I'm working on my second version of my life size R2-D2 model from Star Wars the first version being built when I was nine, now at the age of 14 I'm ready to take a second swing at it. Previous projects include building a 3D printer and helping set up a maker space at my old middle school.
Who are some other Makers you admire and why?
I admire alot of people in my family my father and mother are both engineers with my grandfathers being engineers and machinists and my great grandfather being a bridge builder for the army in ww2. I also admire Adam Savage of mythbusters because of his constant excitement about the things he makes and the workmanship of the things others have made
